The Christchurch Symphony Orchestra together with four of New Zealand’s finest stage performers, BROADWAY TO THE WEST END is a must-see concert for Christchurch musical theatre fans on 29th & 30th April at the Isaac Theatre Royal.
Under the conductorship of maestro Kenneth Young, the 39-piece Christchurch Symphony Orchestra will perform with Tim Beveridge, Tizane McEvoy, Juliet Reynolds-Midgley and the talented young stage star fresh from touring with The Ten Tenors Cameron Barclay.
Together they will perform music from some of the world’s best-loved musicals including Oliver, My Fair Lady, West Side Story and more and an arrangement of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classics.
Producer Ben McDonald – who has staged productions of Buddy, South Pacific, HMS Pinafore and Grease in the past year – says he’s thrilled to be able to deliver such a spectacular lineup of talent at a venue equally as spectacular.
