ITR says YES, PRIME MINISTER… and THANKS PM too!”

Yes Prime Minister

Hi

YES, PRIME MINISTER COMES TO CHRISTCHURCH
16-20 July 2013, Aurora Centre

A special fundraising season for the Isaac Theatre Royal rebuild & restoration
“PURE COMIC BLISS”- The Telegraph (London) – SOLD OUT IN LONDON, SYDNEY & MELBOURNE

We are delighted to be able to still bring you shows even though we can’t actually stage them at the ITR… In a special arrangement with the international producers, ITR & The Press are proudly politically positioned to present‘YES, PRIME MINISTER’ at Christchurch’s Aurora Centre next July.

The hilarious and much-loved 80’s BBC TV series, ‘YES, PRIME MINISTER’ is back – and LIVE on stage! Written by Jonathan Lynn and Antony Jay, the creators of the classic BBC comedy, the NZ season of ‘YES, PRIME MINISTER’ is being extended to Christchurch to help raise funds for the rebuild & restoration of the iconic Isaac Theatre Royal.

Set in the present day, in the oak paneled drawing room at Chequers, the British Prime Minister’s official country residence, the embattled PM and his able advisors, Sir Humphrey and Bernard, face their greatest challenge yet…

Sold out on London’s West End and in Sydney & Melbourne in 2012, this will be a very popular show, so make sure that you get in early to secure the best seats.  This is a strictly limited season – 6 SHOWS ONLY! See more details on show times and ticket prices.

ITR & The Press need you vote for this international smash-hit, spin-doctoring, back-benching, side-splitting stage-comedy.

Fittingly, we can also acknowledge and celebrate the $1M grant to the ITR’s continuing rebuild plans from Prime Minister’s Earthquake Appeal Trust (CEAT) which is being gratefully utilised to ensure the Isaac Theatre Royal is open as soon as humanly possible in 2014.

Look forward to seeing you at the Aurora next July and… one day very soon back at the beautifully restored ITR.

Thanks for your continued support.

NEIL COX – GENERAL MANAGER, ISAAC THEATRE ROYAL
