We’re located at 145 Gloucester Street, Christchurch Central, Ōtautahi. You can find us right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from Cathedral Square.

Tickets can be purchased online via Ticketek website, over the phone (03 260 5260 or 0800 842 538), or in person at the Ticketek BOX Office in the theatre foyer. BOX office hours are Tuesday - Friday, 10am - 5pm.

Yes, tickets purchased online or by phone can be collected at the BOX Office before your event.

Yes, the Isaac Theatre Royal is committed to being a modern accessible venue for theatre patrons of all types of disability.
There are wheelchair and companion seats, as well as hearing loop systems. Accessible bathrooms are available on each floor.

Bookings for special seating requirements such as wheelchair access, hearing difficulties, guide dogs or companion seating can now be made online via www.ticketek.co.nz, by phone to on (03) 260 5260, or via email online@ticketek.co.nz.
*Accessibility seating is available online until one week before the event. After that, please book by phone or in person at our Box Office, open Tuesday to Friday, 10am–5pm.

Plan to arrive early to allow time for ticket checking and to find your seat.
If you’re collecting tickets from the BOX Office, it will open one hour before the event.
If you already have your tickets, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and finding your seats. Please note, late arrivals may be held in a “lock-out” until a suitable break in the performance. -
Enjoy a selection of light snacks and beverages from our theatre bars on every level, or make the most of the many nearby restaurants and cafés for pre- or post-show dining.

Generally, bottles or drink containers of any kind (excluding baby bottles), flasks or thermoses, and commercial food such as fish and chips are not permitted inside the theatre.

Main bathrooms are on the Dress Circle level, with additional facilities (including accessible toilets) on all floors.
