Somebody Do Something is a six-piece band from Ōtautahi, Christchurch. Delivering a pop-funk palette with elements of soul and rock, they get crowds grooving. They have a unique musical flavour, with sax and violin interwoven with vocals and rhythm.
They will be bringing you a tasty set of their music that was made in Canterbury, to stomp your feet to on home soil.
One year since formation, the band has played a number of festivals, toured the nation, and released their first EP earlier this year with four tracks of independently recorded, original Kiwi content.
The musical background of the individual band members ranges from pop, to jazz, metal, rock and classical. They bring this wonderfully diverse array of musical experience together into the delicious sound-world of Somebody Do Something.
