The Isaac Theatre Royal is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the cult classic – The Blues Brothers!

Experience the tale of redemption about paroled convict Jake, his blood brother Elwood, and their “mission from God”, in saving the Catholic orphanage in which they were raised from foreclosure. Embarking on a hilarious journey to reunite their old band, ‘The Blues Brother’ , to perform and raise the $5,000 needed to save the orphanage, they are chased relentlessly by the police, a group of Neo-Nazi’s, and the Good Ole Boys – a country band they’ve managed to infuriate along the way. Oh, and all the while miraculously avoiding being blown to pieces by a mystery woman…

Come and shake your tail feather with a soundtrack featuring some of the best – James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, and of course The Blues Brothers – you’ll be struggling to not sing along, in fact we encourage it!

Join us in turning the ITR into our very own Palace Hotel Ballroom!

This film is rated M and is suitable for mature audiences and contains violence and offensive language.
