Shifting Points of View: Things that Matter

2 September 2017

Gloucester Room

David Galler & Glenn Colquhoun

The doctor will see you now …”

What is it that doctors do exactly?

Dr David Galler has ‘the mind of a superb scientist and the soul of a fine poet’. From his position as Intensive Care specialist at Middlemore Hospital, he tells stories of life and death, and aims to demystify much of the work doctors do in the hope that it will encourage patients to seek to be better informed and play a greater role in the decisions that will affect them and their loved ones.

A superb, engaging speaker and storyteller, DrGaller discusses the things that matter with poet and fellow medicine-man, Glenn Colquhoun.
