Following sold-out seasons in London and acclaimed tours across North America, the UK and Australia, this electrifying reimagining of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s global phenomenon comes to New Zealand for a strictly limited season.
Featuring lyrics and music by Emmy, GRAMMY, Oscar and Tony winners Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, this powerful rock musical explores the extraordinary final days of Jesus Christ — told through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.
Told entirely through song, the iconic 1970s score includes Superstar, I Don’t Know How to Love Him and Gethsemane.
Directed by Timothy Sheader and choreographed by Drew McOnie, this award-winning production has been praised as:
