2024 April School Holiday Drama Workshops Registration Form

Isaac Theatre Royal and Canvas Bag Drama School are excited to announce our second installment of our 2024 Drama Workshops for the upcoming April Holiday break!

Monday 22nd – Wednesday 24th April

This April, the course will be split into three age groups; 7-9yrs, 10-12yrs and 13-17yrs, and will take place in our front of house spaces; The Gloucester Room, Ravenscar Lounge, and The Grand. 

Magnificent Misfits!

Discover the daring stories of those who broke the rules.

What connects Robin Hood’s adventures, Scheherazade’s captivating tales, and the seven sisters – or Pleiades, from The Dreamtime?

They’re all rebels who showed us it’s okay to be different.

Join us for an exciting 3-day workshop where we’ll explore these and other stories and create our own adventures inspired by boldness and innovative thinking.

 

These workshops are designed to challenge children & teenagers with new ideas about acting and performance. Immerse yourself and learn improvisation skills through a selection of high energy and fun games. Dabble in musical theatre including voice work and contemporary choreography in the beautiful surroundings of the majestic Isaac Theatre Royal.

The workshop will take place over three days culminating in a showcase of what the students have been working on, performed in the beautiful Gloucester Room. 

You’ll supply energy, a willingness to learn, and bundles of imagination!

Application Form for our upcoming April School Holiday Drama Workshops!

  • Please note: If your child is on the fringe of an age bracket, we may consider moving them up / down to a group if we are needing to even out group numbers. If this was to take place, you will be notified.

  • Emergency Contact Details:

  • I consent to Canvas Bag and the Isaac Theatre Royal using any photos/video/artwork created during the workshops to be used in any Canvas Bag or Isaac Theatre Royal promotional materials in both print and electronic media, such as websites and social media.
  • Students will have a 30 minute supervised lunch break, so why not take the hassle out and pre-purchase their lunch pack for only $17.50 per day! (Tick either first day, second day or both days)
  • Lunches will be prepared to suit all dietary requirements and will consist of a substantial savory item, a piece of fresh fruit, a sweet treat and your choice of drink (Bottled Water, Charlies orange juice pouch or Charlies blackcurrant and apple juice pouch - please tick below)

  • Disruptive Behaviour

    Canvas Bag reserves the right to remove a student from a class where that student exhibits unacceptable behaviour. Canvas Bag expects all students to have reasonable self management skills and always act with overall safety and well-being of the class as being of paramount importance.
