Presented by: WORD Christchurch Festival 2024
Although it is small, it is still precious. Poetry often relies on succinctness and brevity while still containing whole worlds of experience, meaning and connections. In Te Wai Pounamu where the rivers flow with greenstone, poets (and mana wahine) from around the motu and abroad respond to the theme of TAONGA, sharing poems about what is valuable and sacred to them. Hosted by Tayi Tibble.
A WORD Christchurch event in partnership with Isaac Theatre Royal and with support from Phantom Billstickers.
