The pun show title game is running strong with this one as Dai Henwood returns to Christchurch for his a huge show, his first solo show in Ōtautahi. You might have heard, there’s been a whole lot of things that have happening in Dai’s (and the actual) world recently, and the opportunity to do a show at the Isaac Theatre Royal was just too good to pass up. He’s bringing a couple of pals along with him, Justine Smith and local Audrey Porne (Ngāi Tahu), to make this 90min show something to remember.
Starting his comedy career over 25 years ago, this is a solo spectacular for Dai – up on the big stage and owning it. Justine needs no introduction, well known to audiences around the country, and we’re excited to include Audrey who we are expecting big things from.
ONE NIGHT ONLY and bloody stoked to be bringing it to Christchurch. Book the babysitter, grab and Uber, and make a night of it.
We take this moment to acknowledge the rightful custodians of the lands we perform on, their ancestors and their mana motuhake here in Ōtautahi.
