BREAD & CIRCUS World Buskers Festival returns to Christchurch in January 2024!
As one of the best loved and most attended events in the NZ summer calendar, Bread & Circus 2023 attracted bigger crowds to its vibrant busking pitches than ever before. Over 17 frenetic days and 294 performances, 58 uniquely talented artists showered the streets of Christchurch with more colour, chaos and charisma than should probably be legal.
With a program that blends home-grown talent, festival favourites, and fresh faces from far-flung locations, the 2024 line-up will again see comedians, musicians, dancers, acrobats, trapeze artists, magicians and more take to the streets and stage.
The Bread & Circus Kids Comedy Gala is must-see highlight of the festival every year providing enough belly-laughs and mischief for the young and young at heart. We’ve hand-picked the cream of the crop from this year’s Buskers Festival to lead the shenanigans, and just like a bag of fruit bursts, the Kids Comedy Gala is jam-packed with a colourful mix of the very best performers in the business.
